MEGALITHOMANIA CONFERENCE
The MEGALITHOMANIA Annual Conference took place on May 19th and 20th 2007, in Glastonbury. Robert spoke about his book THE CRYSTAL SUN and the uses of lenses in ancient times. Other keynote speakers were Keith Critchlow and John Michell.

ROBERT MEETS THOMAS GANZ
Robert and Thomas Ganz looking at a camera obscura prism at the preview of the sale at CHRISTIE'S South Kensington of Herr Ganz's Collection of Magic Lanterns, Optical Toys and pre-Cinema on January 22nd. Ganz, from Zurich, has built up his collection over many years and showed us every item we were interested in as if it was part of his family. He was delighted that Robert bought a set of 3 Chinese Magic Mirrors and a Victorian kaleidescope. The photograph was taken by his daughter Catherine.
GENIUS OF CHINA NEW EDITION
The new revised and expanded edition of THE GENIUS OF CHINA was published by Andre Deutsch in February 2007. The book has much additional information and 50 new photographs. Various foreign editions will follow. Sales have also been confirmed in United States, France, Greece and Poland. We will keep you posted.

DESCENT INTO HELL
The film DESCENT INTO HELL has been transmitted several times on National Geographic Europe. Images from the filming are online in the Trips section.
ROBERT ON BOARD OF CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Robert has been appointed to the Board of Councillors of the China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development. Madame Deng Nan (daughter of the late Deng Xiaoping), Vice Minister of Science and Technology, is the Chinese chairperson. The American chairman is Professor William McDonough, architect, designer, and author of the book on eco-effectiveness, Cradle to Cradle. The Center will be co-ordinating sustainable development projects between China and America. The U.S. State Department and the White House Office of Science and Technology are represented on the board ex officio.
DOING THE RADIO STATIONS
Robert has released an exclusive and never before published article entitled "Doing the Radio Stations" in which he recounts his radio publicity tour for The Sirius Mystery.
